i don't think we get out of this mess by trying to get out of this mess. I feel, I sense, the best way is to accept the mess as part of what we can only go through.
I question the notion - the premise - of the restoration mythology to begin with. Even if humans are very different animals, which i also question, it still gives us no right, no rhyme, no reason to put ourselves in charge of the order of the world. that is the problem.
if our altruism sets us apart, it is only to the same degree as our violence. focusing on what sets us apart seems only to lead to justifications for our oppression, control, violence.
it all feels like {mind} excuses not to just love the whole world.
i just wonder... surely, there has to be some... nobility in questioning the need to struggle :
i'd rather spend the energy on love. immediately.
love'll tell it's own story. if we let it.
