Day 30: Trick-Or-Treat
Mario and Luigi are opening up the doors to trick-or-treaters at their house. All of the trick-or-treaters tend to be toads, who dress up with either power ups, or make their own costumes. While there, Luigi decides to tease his brother in front of the mischievous toads.
Almost done uploading these. One at a time. I hope you enjoy!
Mario and Luigi were hanging out at their house, watching halloween movies. Though they were watching movies and eating lots of candy, they were also ready with the remote to pause the movie whenever trick or treaters knocked on the door. When multiple toads were trick or treating, Mario and Luigi would keep the movie paused and just chat about the movie until the collection of dressed-up toads would lessen. Then, when the crowd of toads were all candied up, Mario and Luigi would start up the movie again.Â
They were now three quarters through The Nightmare Before Christmas, when a few toads knocked on the door. Mario paused the movie while Luigi hopped off the couch, and they both headed to the door to open it. âTrick or treat!â All the toads said in unison.Â
âAwww! I love your costumes!â Mario reacted.Â
âIâm a fire flower!â One of the toads reacts, dressed with a green body, leaf sleeves and a fire flower floppy hood.Â
âWow! I love it!â Mario reacted, handing the toad a big chocolate bar.Â
âIâm a fox!â Another toad declared, dressed up as a big red fox.Â
âVery-a nice!â Luigi reacted, giving the fox toad a candy bar as well.Â
âAnd Iâm a cat! Meow!â The third toad cheered, showing off his cat powerup.Â
âVery creative!â Mario reacted, giving him a chocolate bar as well.Â
âLook, look Luigi! Iâm a chocolate bar!â The last toad declared, showing off its chocolate bar costume with a bright blue wrapper.Â
âOoooh, my-a favorite!â Mario reacted, giving the last toad a chocolate bar as well.Â
The toads all thanked the twins, and left the house happy and content with their candy bags.Â
Mario and Luigi closed the door, happy with themselves. âI loved the fire flower costume.â Luigi admitted.Â
Mario laughed. âI liked that one too. The cat costume thoughâŚâ Mario made a face and made an âiffyâ gesture with his hand. âIt could use some work. We came across about 45 toads dressed as cats last year.â Mario admitted.Â
âYeahâŚbut maybe they didnât have time to make a costume.â Luigi suggested.Â
âYeahâŚMaybe youâre right.â Mario responded.Â
Luigi chuckled and shrugged his shoulders. âBut who knows.â He responded. âWanna see Oogie Boogie get ripped to shreds?â Luigi asked.Â
Mario shuddered and bit his lip. âNot reallyâŚbut do I have a choice?â Mario asked his brother.Â
Luigi smirked and unpaused the movie with the remote. âNope.âÂ
Mario rolled his eyes as he checked the window. âFineâŚâÂ
When the coast was clear, Luigi and Mario sat onto the couch again and watched the rest of the movie. Sure enough, Oogie Boogie got ripped to shreds, and the movie ended on a relatively happy note.Â
With that movie done, Mario took out the DVD and looked to Luigi. âWhat movie should we put on now?â He asked.Â
Luigi thought for a moment. âWhat about Monster House?â Luigi asked.Â
Mario widened his eyes. âUhhhhhâŚâ He looked down, visibly nervous. âIâŚdonât really like that one.âÂ
Luigi frowned slightly. âWhy not?â He asked.Â
âCause the animation gives me the creeps.â Mario admitted. âAnd the house?! Nuh uh!â Mario reacted, visibly uncomfortable.Â
âWhatâs wrong? Canât handle a house haunted by the ghost of an old manâs chunky freakshow lover?â Luigi joked.Â
âShut up!â Mario yelled back. âYou know exactly why I donât like it. Itâs the house itself. It looks too raggedy and grossâŚâ Mario muttered aloud.Â
âIsnât that the point-âÂ
*Knock knock knock*Â
Luigi paused his words and looked at the door. âMore trick-or-treaters. Coming Mario?âÂ
Mario sighed and nodded his head. âYeah, Iâm-a coming.â He responded, walking to the door with Luigi.Â
As soon as they opened the door, about 5 toads yelled âTrick or treat!â to them.Â
âWow! So many toads!â Mario reacted, switching to his surprised face.Â
âIâm a bee! Buzz buzz!â One of the toads declared, wearing a bee power up.Â
âCan you make yourself fly?â Mario asked the toad.Â
âYup!â The toad jumped up, and made the wings flap super fast, so it could fly. âWoo hoo!â Toad cheered.Â
âAwesome! Hereâs your chocolate bar!â Mario celebrated, giving the toad a bar.Â
âIâm you, Super Mario!â The second toad declared, dressing in a red shirt and blue overalls, with a yellow blanket as the superhero cape.Â
Luigi chuckled, appreciating the fun little costume. âAwww, now thereâs two Marioâs here!â Luigi reacted, poking Marioâs side.Â
âLu!â Mario reacted, slapping his hand. âStop it!âÂ
âWhat?â Luigi poked him a couple more times. âCanât handle a few pokes?â Luigi asked with a smirk.Â
Mario held his breath, trying to not react too much to his pokes. But the more he poked, the more Mario kept instinctively jumping and yelping.Â
âWhatâs happening?â A third toad asked, dressed as a gold coin.Â
âHeâs ticklish!â The 4th toad replied, dressed as a goomba.Â
âTicklish!?â The 5th toad reacted, dressed as a penguin.Â
âYup, Mario is very ticklish!â Luigi reacted, poking his belly and side a few more times.Â
These pokes earned him some more squeaks, jumps, and the occasional giggle. âL-Luhuhu! StahAP IHIT!â Mario yelled, trying to poke him back. But Luigi caught one of his hands, held it up and started poking even more against his armpit. âOh yeah, Marioâs very ticklish! His armpits drive him CRAZY!â Luigi declared, before switching to fluttering his fingers against his armpit.Â
Mario squeaked and closed one eye, laughing and giggling. He shook his head, squeaking and tugging on his arm. âLuhuhuhu STAHAHAHAP! HAHAhahaha Nohot fahahair!â Mario reacted.Â
âHeâs so ticklish!â The toad dressed as Mario had reacted.Â
âHe really is! Itâs his only weakness besides his height.â Luigi admitted, playfully jabbing at both his belly, as well as his dignity.Â
Mario threw his head back and squealed, laughing almost manically. âMama Mihihiaaa! Plehehehehease! Hahahahaha!â Mario covered his mouth in an attempt to get his giggles under control. But evident by the continuous giggles leaving his mouth, it clearly wasnât working.Â
By now, some of the toads were giggling, while other toads were calling more toads to come see Mario get tickled. It was quite funny seeing the toads so eager to see Mario so giggly.Â
âHeâs so funny!â One of the toads reacted, giggling as well in his turtle costume.
âAre you sure this is his only weakness?â A toadette asked, dressed as Princess Peach.Â
Luigi chuckled. âOh, this isnât Marioâs only weaknessâŚâ Luigi warned.Â
âLuigihihihi, dohohonât you dahahahahare!â Mario warned.Â
âBut for the sake of Marioâs dignity, Iâm gonna keep that a secret.â Luigi said next to the toads.Â
The toads let out a collective âAwwwwâŚâ in response, but quickly went back to laughing once Luigi tickled Marioâs armpits again.
âLUHUHUHUHU! STAHAHAP IHIHIT!â Mario yelled, reaching out and trying to poke Luigi back.Â
âWaAH-â Luigi caught his other hand, and smirked. âSorry, Mario~â Luigi declared. âYouâre not turning the tables THAT easily~â He warned.Â
âMeheherda! Cohohome ohohohohon!â Mario whined through his laughter.Â
Luigi poked and prodded a few different spots, keeping Mario on his jumpy little toes. âBoop! Boop-boop, boop, boop-boop-boop!â Luigi teased in a baby voice.Â
âIhihi swehehehear to gohohohod!â Mario yelled before falling onto his back. âIhihiâm gonna kihihihill yohohou!â Mario shot at him.Â
Luigi knelt down and let go of his hand, before tickling both sides of his belly. âLetâs save that for laterâŚOkay, brother?â Luigi teased, looking at the toads as he tickled him.Â
The toads all giggled and covered their mouths, clearly loving the entertainment Luigi was providing them. The number of toads had now gone up to 15, with 11 toads and 4 toadetteâs watching Mario get tickled to bits in front of them.
Right as Mario felt like he was gonna lose it, Luigi slowly stopped tickling. He couldnât help but sneak a few little extra pokes, but he certainly lessened the tickles dramatically. The tickles werenât nearly as bad as before. They mainly just left Mario jumpy and giggly.Â
âAlright, I think thatâs enough for the poor man.â Luigi told them. Despite the fact that Mario seemed to be exhausted, the toads all let out a whiney âAwwwwwâ sound all over again. But upon seeing Mario breathing heavily, they all gathered around Mario and offered him their candy to help him get better. One toad offered the chocolate bar Luigi had just given him, while another child offered up a bag of sour candies. A toadette offered him a juice box, which Mario did end up graciously taking. Mario drank it down slowly, appreciating the liquid that coated his previously-dry throat. The toadette looked at Mario, visibly concerned. âAre you okay?â The toadette asked him.Â
âY-YeahâŚIâm okay.â Mario responded.Â
âIs there anything else we can do?â Another toad asked.Â
Mario lifted his head up slightly. âActuallyâŚâ He raised his pointer finger up. âYou can tickle Luigi if you want. Get his armpits and hips.â Mario spoke up.Â
Luigi gasped. âWhAT?! Mario!â Luigi yelled.Â
âŚAnd so, the silly toads collectively decided to defend Super Mario, by tickling the tickle monster himself. What a funny little turn of eventsâŚ
