This is the first Squid game tickle fic I ever wrote and actually post now. I tried to keep the characters as accurate as possible, sorry if it‘s not 100% accurate though. I tried my best and I hope you‘ll enjoy this fic :)
Summary: Ever since Nam-gyu caught Thanos taking pills, he hasn't left him alone and is trying everything he can to get his hands on those drugs. Thanos however is not at all pleased about this, until he finally finds a harmless way to get rid of this annoying bastard.

Nam-gyu was not someone who gave up easily. Thanos realized this when the annoying weirdo appeared in front of his bunk bed for the third time.
Ever since the first game, the younger man had been relentless, constantly eyeing the rapper's silver cross necklace. And that was solely because of the drugs it contained.
Before red light green light had started, he 'd caught Thanos red-handed, gleefully consuming the little round wonder pills and winning the game in high spirits.
And, of course, that was exactly the light at the end of the tunnel that the rather nervous Nam-gyu needed before the next game. He had seen how cheerful the purple-haired guy was after taking the pills, and since then Nam-gu had been determined to get his hands on them, no matter what.
And so Nam-gyu would occasionally ( which was about every 15 minutes) get out of his bed and approach Thanos to ask him for pills again, only to be rejected once more, of course. “Hey man, come on, give me some! We're friends now,” Nam-gyu urged, looking at Thanos with pleading eyes.
It was obvious that he didn't like to use the word “friends” to define their relationship and was simply using their shared hatred towards MG Coin to persuade the rapper to offer him drugs.
“No, man. These are special. I don't just share them. And besides, you couldn't handle the effect anyway. These things are fucking crazy, man,” Thanos explained, rolling his eyes and holding up his necklace suspiciously arrogantly.
“I swear I've taken stronger stuff,” insisted Number 124, standing firmly in front of Thanos' bed. The second game would start in a few minutes and he needed those pills now.
“Do you know how much I don't care, Nam-su?”
“Yeah, yeah, Nam-su, Nam-gyu, whatever. Anyway, you're not getting anything from me, so fuck off,” Thanos grumbled, stubbornly crossing his arms in front of his chest.
He had only been here for a day and already he had an annoying, drug-demanding dog following him around, who was also extremely persistent. It wasn't even that Thanos was worried about the effects of the drugs on the nuisance, even though it could seem that way. But in reality, Thanos just didn't want to give up his precious pills because he was worried he would end up with none left.
Because if he gave in, Nam-gyu would probably never leave him alone and annoy him before every game.
So he had to find a way to get rid of him quickly. The easiest option would certainly be to make him lose the next game, but strangely enough, Thanos didn't think that was quite right.
He would have no problem sacrificing any other player for his own benefit, but surprisingly, he couldn't imagine just letting Nam-gyu die.
However, this made things a lot more difficult. “Come on! Please! I need them! I can handle it, I'm sure!” Nam-gyu's voice interfered with Thanos' thoughts again. Just then, Thanos suddenly had the perfect idea to scare off his annoying sidekick and hopefully get rid of him.
An idea that involved neither pain nor death. But a lot of fun for Thanos.
“You say you can handle it? Then prove it,” Thanos challenged the younger man, who looked at him confused but also confident.
“Can you handle this too?” the rapper grinned and teasingly poked his counterpart in the side. The younger one squealed in surprise and instinctively took a step back.
“What... are you doing?” he asked directly, looking Thanos up and down as if he had just gone mad.
“What am I doing?” he asked innocently.
“Are you serious? Are you really asking that?” Nam-gyu asked incredulously, but was soon interrupted by his own, pretty unmanly giggle when Thanos poked him again.
“Ticklish?” he asked with a grin and continued undisturbed.
“Of course not,” Nam-gyu snorted and backed away again. But instead of simply stopping, Thanos got up from his bed and moved a little closer.
“How about a deal? If you can really take this,” he poked the black-haired man again, “I'll give you some of my stuff.”
Nam-gyu briefly considered whether the pills were really worth embarrassing himself in front of Thanos, but then he came to the conclusion that these pathetic pokes were nothing and he could easily endure them.
“Okay, sure,” he said confidently, standing up straight and vulnerable in front of Thanos. But against his expectations he didn’t just get poked a little, no, instead Thanos’ arms wrapped tightly around his waist and shortly afterwards he was more or less carefully thrown onto the rapper’s bed.
And before he could really comprehend what had just happened, Thanos began poking him again. But not as roughly and carelessly as before, but more frequently and this time with a clear intention: to make Nam-gyu give up on his own.
“Hey, stop that,” he grumbled, trying desperately not to burst out laughing like a damn toddler. Slowly but surely, he realized how much dignity he would have left after this attack, and it certainly wasn't much. “You look pretty tense, but don't worry, this will loosen you up a bit,” Thanos remarked, switching from poking to squeezing.
This time it was his victim's sides, who was now only biting his lip weakly and looked as if he was about to explode at any moment.
How he would love to just sit up, push Thanos away, or protest loudly, but at the moment he just felt weak and helpless against the experienced hands of his tormentor.
And besides, he wasn't doing this for fun. He had to get those pills. And if he laughed himself silly and embarrassed himself only to give up afterwards, his dignity would be damaged once and for all.
“Hmm, you really don't wanna laugh for me,” the purple-haired man said, shrugging indifferently. It was obvious that this was tickling Nam-gyu and that he hated the situation, and that was enough for Thanos.
As long as the nuisance was suffering, Thanos didn't care how he reacted, especially since no one could completely avoid laughing, not even Nam-gyu. This fact was quickly confirmed when Thanos pressed directly into the flesh of Nam-gyu's hip and he eventually began to giggle like a
schoolgirl. “Wow, I didn't expect you to last this long,” Thanos remarked, which only made Nam-gyu laugh even more, as it could have been either a teasing remark or a plain, uninteresting statement coming from Thanos' mouth, and it was really hard to tell the difference.
Thanos was constantly high anyway, and everything that came out of his mouth had a playful, teasing undertone, regardless of its actual meaning.
That alone made Thanos seem like the epitome of calm, which really drove Nam-gyu crazy in a situation like this.
On top of that, Thanos had definitely noticed that Nam-gyu's hip was an extremely ticklish spot, and now he was testing every technique in the book there, successfully, of course. First, Thanos went back to poking and received helpless and, admittedly, rather cute squeaks in response. Then he gently pressed his thumbs into the bones there and received panicked squeals before a prolonged fit of giggles. But the highlight were definitely the creative swear words Nam-gyu resorted to whenever Thanos paused briefly to make Nam-gyu think he was done with his attack, only to start all over again when Nam-gyu tried to sit up.
“You bahahastard! Stahahap it,” he grumbled, trying to free himself from his position, but Thanos easily pushed him back onto the mattress.
"Thanos, dahahamn it! They're looking at us!" said Nam-gyu as he noticed out of the corner of his eye that some curious players were stealing glances at them and whispering among themselves.
Thanos was high and, in Nam-gyu's opinion, not a shy person anyway, so he had no problem with a few spectators. He probably even thought they were admiring his excellent torture technique.
But for Nam-gyu, this was hell on earth. Those damn fingers that just wouldn't stop tickling him, the curious glances of the other players, and Thanos' stupid permanent grin, all at the same time, while he lay there helplessly and couldn't stop laughing like a complete idiot.
“That's what people do. You would do the same if someone was laughing like you here,” Thanos clarified, making Nam-gyu realize that he would indeed do the same.
But it was still a mystery to him how Thanos could torture him and yet remain so rational in such an infuriating way.
“Hey Nam-su, you know what would be really funny?” he asked suddenly, out of nowhere, poking the younger man alternately in the belly button and stomach.
“Wahahat?” asked Nam-gyu, out of breath, trying again to get rid of Thanos' hand.
“If we played rib counting right now,” Thanos grinned devilishly.
“NO! Please! Let‘s not play that“, number 124, who had already had enough and just wanted to escape with the drugs as quickly as he could, begged.
“Nam-su my friend! Don’t ruin my fun now! Just one round and then you can go,” Thanos said, smiling wickedly.
„No! I really hate that game! I‘m…almost allergic to it, ou know?“, Nam-gyu said in an attempt to somehow save himself.
“Come on, just one round and then I'll give you these,” Thanos assured him, holding up his necklace with the pills to emphasize his supposed honesty.
But Nam-gyu had had enough, and in a swift, unpredictable motion, he snatched the piece of jewelry. He was about to run away with it, but he had clearly underestimated the effect of the relentless tickle attack. The moment his feet touched the floor, he trembled and stood wobbly on his legs before falling back onto the bed just as quickly.
“Not only a pain in the neck, but also a thief? That's unbelievable!” Thanos commented and snatched the necklace back from him.
“GIVE IT BACK!” Nam-gyu yelled angrily, but all he got in return was a poke in the ribs.
“Not again,” he grumbled and chuckled to himself again.
“I would have stopped if you hadn't tried to steal from me at that exact moment,” the rapper made clear and began to “count” his victim's ribs.
In reality, he had no idea how that was even supposed to work or how many ribs a human being even had, but Nam-gyu didn't need to know that.
“One,” he began, poking where he thought the top rib was. Of course, he hit almost exactly the right spot, making Nam-gyu laugh out loud once again.
“Two,” he continued, moving his finger down to the next rib, which he poked twice.
“Three,” he muttered, poking the third rib three times.
This was definitely a meaner version of the game that Nam-gyu knew all too well, and he already hated it.
He was 100% sure that you weren't allowed to poke each rib more than once, but this bastard just didn't follow the rules.
“Hmm... am I really at 4?” Thanos' questioning voice suddenly rang out as he looked at the rib under his finger in mock confusion.
“Maybe it's five,” he wondered, but tapped the rib six times. “Just to be sure,” he muttered and continued, while Nam-gyu was starting to feel like he was going crazy.
“AHAHAHA FUHUHUCK THANOS, YOU CRAHAHAZY BAHAHASTARD! Please just stop!” he whined, trying to control his own laughter.
“And just give you my pills like that? Never!” he declared and calmly continued counting.
He knew Nam-gyu would be reluctant to give up the pills, but he would just keep going until he did.
“Fourteen,” he suddenly announced cheerfully, pointing to the other player's last rib.
“IMPOSSIBLE! AHAHAHA! Humans only have 12 ribs on each side,” Nam-gyu remarked, then quickly covered his mouth when he realized his mistake.
“Of course I knew that. It just means I'll have to start counting again, unfortunately,” Thanos announced with a smile, preparing to count again.
Immediately, a shiver ran down Nam-gyu's spine. He had been sure that he could withstand any of Thanos' attacks, but he knew he would not survive another round of this damn tickle game.
“NO!,” he finally gave up in resignation.
“Come on, man, I give up! Just keep your stupid pills.”
Breathing heavily, he lay on the bed and looked up at Thanos' proud, smiling face. Now he had lost all his dignity and his chance to get Thanos' drugs.
“Finally,” Thanos muttered, stretching his wrists and fingers with satisfaction. He had finally succeeded in getting Nam-gyu to retreat completely pain-free. But something about that guy’s dejected expression didn’t sit well with him.
The previously confident and cheeky young man no longer seemed confident or cocky, let alone annoying. He just seemed hopeless and anxious, probably because of the upcoming game. And as Thanos took a closer look he even noticed that the younger one was shaking in fear.
As much as Thans hated himself for it, he decided to show a little mercy just this one time.
“ Honestly, though, you handled it better than I expected. Here, take this and get lost. And don’t you dare ask for more,” the rapper declared, taking a pill from inside his cross necklace. Nam-gyu looked at him in surprise, but the former rapper just waved him off and shoved the drug into Nam-gyu’s mouth. Of course the latter chewed it quickly to unleash the full effect for the next game.
And that was the moment Thanos realized that maybe it wasn't such a bad idea to have a teammate by his side atleast for the time being.
