A genus of large weevils endemic to Australia, usually associated with wattles, but one species L. robustus is also known as the Fruit-tree Root Weevil, and has shown up in New Zealand.

They pupate underground in chambers of hardened earth, which show up frequently as fossils on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia, and a few other places around Australia. Thanks to the exit hole, they resemble Dutch clogs.
