Le petit dep
モントリオールの旧市街にあるカフェです。
旧港の近くにある雑貨屋さんのお姉さんに
おすすめしてもらいました。
その雑貨屋さんもとても可愛いのですが、
写真NGのお店なので住所だけ下に載せておきます。
マグカップ、キャンドル、ヘアアクセサリー、
キッチン用品などはもちろん、靴下、毛糸の帽子など
いろんなジャンルの可愛らしいものが置いてあります。
カフェも併設されていて、一度利用してみたいのですが
夕方17時ごろには閉まっているのでまだ機会に恵まれず・・・
さて、そんな雑貨屋さんにおすすめしてもらった
この写真のお店ですがpetit(ちいさな) depという名前です。
depはdepanneur(遅くまで開いている食料品店)の略語です。
パリで ”アラブ"なんて呼ばれていたりする
小さな食料品店と同じようなものです。
食べ物だけ置いているコンビニを想像してもらっても
いいかもしれません。
ただし、このle petit depはカフェが主体で、
置いてあるものも飴やチョコレート、お菓子が中心で、
あとはビールなどが少しといった品揃えでした。
なのでお店に入った瞬間、カラフルで可愛らしい
たくさんのものが目に飛び込んできます。
間違いなく、わたしが行ったことのあるどこの国の
カフェの中でもだんとつで可愛いらしいです。
歩き回って冷えた体を温めてくれたアメリカーノも
とてもおいしかった・・・・
おそらく１月中はまだクリスマスの飾りだと思われるので、
もう少ししたらまた行ってみようと思っています:)
