Nightmare Suit

So Halloween is coming up! And I really need to update my oc ship and their costumes for this event and even the old Halloween ones. I just take forever to draw full pieces I have ADHD...

But I am going to ramble about this card just for fun! I am using my speaking tag as of making this post so you'll see it on here.

When this card came out my friend sent it to me as I was driving to work I almost fainted on the highway doing 90 I was so enchanted. The suit is so well fitting on Leona's body. I love the ponytail and eyepatch it feels very much like mob boss without it going there. He is also such a gentleman in this event I love seeing him treat women kindly Leona isn't as mean as people might think.

Compared to his pirate card the sex appeal is a little different? His pirate Halloween card has a more 'carnal' feeling to it and this is more 'sensual'. Like he's luring you in with sweet words and praises in his Nightmare Suit. As a pirate he's just eating you up.

I also like the art style for the event too, making the characters scratchy and more paper like while still keeping the original art. It makes it even more eye catching at least in my opinion!

In his vignette you can see more of his leader behaviors. Leona in my opinion is NOT fit to rule a country especially since he's only 20 years old (21 likely in book 8 of Twst) but he and Jack Skellington have a very good... Awareness? Of those around them. Which is why Jack is a king. And Leona is a dorm leader. Maybe none of this makes sense but it was such a fun experience seeing Leona preform duties almost like he was back in his home country. Or even when he's in Savanaclaw helping and bossing around his cute underclassmen.
