I am being very brave right now! It took a lot of pondering to decide if I even wanted to post this, but…

I am posting a piece of art I was working on.

When I was little I really wanted to be an artist. Like in 5th grade I dressed up to be an artist for career day.

Then my 6th grade art teacher just completely crushed my hopes for doing art, and after that I just kinda stopped and never took an art class again.

But after getting involved in D&D and commissioning amazing artists to bring my characters and ideas to life, my passion for art was kind of reignited. And I have spent a lot of time in the Artist Community on Twitter. And their words are so encouraging. It’s never too late to start. And your age does not dictate what your skill should be.

I have received really good advice from the artists I have worked with, and I really want to work towards improving my skills so that I can bring my ideas to life!

So my current obsession is my D&D characters, and I spent some time on this little piece of Leomarrius!

A lot of advice I have received is to just draw. Just draw whatever interests me, and over time the skills will develop.
