From the production companies of Viola Davis and Julius Tennon of JuVee Productions and Lemuel Plummer of  L. Plummer Media  comes the landmark limited series, Two Sides of the Truth, which will focus on four high profile cases that have been watershed moments for law enforcement and the Black community.

          Produced for the TV One network by L. Plummer Media in partnership with JuVee Productions, 'Two Sides' will dissect and present both points of view of these highly charged cases so the audience can draw their own conclusions after hearing both sides of the story. Davis also narrates the limited series.

          "Every other week we hear about these horrific incidences and many of them go unsolved and unresolved. We hope that this show can take those headlines and humanize them," said Davis.  "We want to give an unbiased approach to digging into what really happened on those fateful days and in doing so, hopefully shed some light and bring some awareness to such an important issue," said Tennon.

     Two Sides of the Truth is executive produced by Davis, Tennon and Andrew T. Wang of JuVee Productions, Plummer and Jason L. Tolbert of L. Plummer Media (LPM) with LPM overseeing production.

       "A project of this magnitude calls for partners like JuVee Productions and TV One who understand the issues at-stake and the importance of good, accurate, storytelling. We look forward to working with JuVee and TV One to explore all the facets of each case and hopefully shed new light on the story."

             Oxygen has confirmed the rumors!  They are expanding the network’s popular franchise and heading to Motown for "Preachers of Detroit," set to premiere winter 2015.  The series will also focus on powerful themes of faith, family, and friendship as these seven men and women of the cloth share their lives, transformations and triumphs in and out of the pulpit in Detroit, Michigan. 

The prominent pastors include: Bishop Charles Ellis Pastor David Bullock Evangelist Dorinda Clark-Cole Pastor Don Shelby Bishop Corletta Vaughn Bishop-Elect Clarence Langston Pastor Tim Alden.

                And ladies and gentlemen we are off to the races! There are still Houston and New York casts to be determined.  It should be noted “Preachers of L.A.” Season one was the most watched freshman series in network history among P25-54, averaging over one million total viewers. The series delivered digital success as well with more full episode streams per week in season than any other Oxygen original series and was a Top 10 most social cable reality program in October and November 2013. On Video On Demand (VOD), “Preachers of L.A.” earned over two million transactions.      

             OXYGEN MEDIA PRESENTS ADVANCE SCREENINGS OF "PREACHERS OF L.A." SEASON TWO EXCLUSIVELY AT AMC THEATRES IN SELECT MARKETS ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 12     

     The Cast To Make Special Appearances In Atlanta and Dallas For Exclusive Q&A Sessions     

     NEW YORK, NY - August 5, 2014 - Oxygen Media and AMC Theatres are giving fans an advance screening of the season two premiere of the hit docu-series "Preachers of L.A." on Tuesday, August 12 at 7 PM exclusively at select AMC locations. A full week before the show premieres, screenings will be open to the public and held simultaneously at AMC locations in Atlanta, Houston, Washington DC, Dallas and Tampa. The cast will make special appearances in Atlanta and Dallas for exclusive Q&A sessions with the audience. The highly anticipated series gives viewers a candid and revealing look at six boldly different, world-renowned mega-pastors in Southern California: Bishop Noel Jones, Minister Deitrick Haddon, Bishop Clarence McClendon, Pastor Jay Haizlip, Pastor Wayne Chaney, and Bishop Ron Gibson. Season Two premieres on Wednesday, August 20 at 10 PM ET/PT on Oxygen.     

      "Preachers of L.A." is full of self-discovery and change with growing families and ministries, incredible women of strength beside the preachers, and ever-changing relationships. On the season premiere, the preachers meet at Bishop Jones home to begin planning an outreach event that will positively impact the community of Los Angeles. Sparks fly when Pastor Jay confronts Deitrick about Dominique's hidden pregnancy during their wedding. Bishop Ron clashes with Bishop Noel about Loretta's involvement in the event and their relationship status. Meanwhile, Loretta herself faces off with First Lady LaVette at Dominique's Sip N See. Will the preachers be able to put their differences aside and come together to plan this impactful event?

                    In addition, Oxygen will air four "Preachers of L.A." after-show specials beginning Wednesday, August 27 at 11 PM ET/PT. Hosted by network personality Susie Castillo and relationship expert Paul Brunson, the cast will open up about love, relationships, faith, family, and compromise as they go in-depth on some of the most talked-about controversial topics of the season. Oxygen invites fans to ask the preachers questions via Twitter or Instagram video throughout season two and throughout the after-shows. Questions with hashtag #AskAPreacher will be pulled into a dedicated section on Oxygen.com ( http://www.oxygen.com/shows/preachers-of-la), where fans may read submitted questions, submit their own, and watch videos of the preachers' answers. Some questions from fans will air on TV during Oxygen's "Preachers of L.A." after-shows.
