Who else is daydreaming of summer weddings? 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️ That’s me in the corner! Of course my year is almost completely booked out I still have a few scattered dates and if your like 20% of my couples... they still haven’t settled on their photographer until 6 mos - 1 year out! Don’t be discouraged to reach out to me, I may just luckily still have your date available! A venue owner friend of mine and I were looking at our trends for the year based off of past bookings and clients — we both know this to be true in the order of importance for most couples: 1. Venue/ Date 2. Wedding Planner 3. Food/ Beverages 4. Flowers 5. The Dress 6. Invites 7. Entertainment/ Dj 8. The Cake 9. Rentals/ Decor 10. Photographer So although I wish photography was like in the 2-3 range, sadly I only come to mind before bridesmaid dresses, bachelorette parties, the officiant, and other last minute details! I know... even my poor officiant friends see this and we think — isn’t your wedding day suppose to be about the vows and the memories you reflect on? Well... all I can say is that I hope you’re like 80% of my couples (which is actually a much lower number in the general industry) — but most of my couples come to me right after they book their venue because they know how important it is to have some beautiful images from the day! And I’m only one person and can only book one event per day! Plan wisely!
