Yesterday was really nice, spent some time with Juana downtown at LJs (still sad there will be no more shows there) and just explored the depths of 8th street making the crappiest jokes. A guy at the show yesterday came up to me and whispered in my ear, “you’re really pretty” and I was blushing for ten minutes straight after that. He was wearing a leather jacket and I should’ve spoke more to him afterwards but I didn’t. The Fever Haze did a short but great set. It rained for a while but it cleared up nice and sunny and after a bit, Juana and I got expensive ice cream and went into some stores with no intention of buying anything. Later when it was dark we walked around in the park and each threw a penny in the fountain. We both wished for boyfriends. I know this cause we said it aloud. It was a nice night and it was a great break from work and school. I’m glad things turned out the way they did.
