Fuck managers. They're constantly complaining about the littlest things in store and I'm thinking.... Where's my thanks for running YOUR STORE ALONE DURING THIS LOCKDOWN??? Of course things won't be done YOUR WAY if you don't say anything beforehand... plus I was trained by the staff who knows a lot more about the business because you're rarely in (and we're being paid min wage despite the workload they do)! I'm almost burnt out for wasting my time and not being appreciated enough 🖕😒

I found out that my previous job, that went into administration, permanently closing all their stores and forced all the staff into redundancy with no support - have reopened their flagship store, with new staff. The audacity of this company 🖕🖕🖕

18/03 My friend works in a supermarket (worst job for covid-19) and has told me that the customers are now stalking the delivery drivers - in search of sold out toilet paper.

This is my opinion... But if you're looking to apply to a job, don't just say "I want to see the manager" and be rude. Just ask if we're hiring and I'll be more than willing to help as much as I can - I'll let you talk to the manager themselves if they're free and you're nice. If I see you acting rude towards my colleagues, i won't accept. Also my place doesn't accept CVs except through their website 🤷‍♀️
