Me: “Okay well what happens if the people you’re flirting with fall in love with you?”

Piper: “I’m jus’ sayin’ guys don’t stick ‘round me fer very long. I ain’t built fer lovin’ nobody.”

Me: “You could have settled down half a dozen times! You’re universally adored with my major roleplay partner.”

Piper: “Outside o’ WoW, I got Preston, sure. ‘Course we ain’t been played since April 2017...” She grunted, and shook her head. “Why is this even a topic? I like flirtin’, but ultimately I’m fine on my own.”

Me: “You don’t want love?”

Piper: “My daddy taught me real early there’s a difference ‘tween wantin’ and needin’. Someday, maybe, I’ll find someone that fits what I’m lookin’ fer. Until then... I’m havin’ fun.”
