As both siblings fell into step with one another, Hunter couldn’t help the flashbacks of back home. Them going into a party - arm in arm, presenting to be an inseparable pair. Siblings by chance, friends by choice. Before Arielle and before Isak - Leilani was really the only one he could count on, the one he went to, to pour all his secrets to. Only now he’s temporarily hiding the fact that after his little talk with Isak, he planned on forgetting about it when he started to make out with Nikita Orlov. That his mind was too busy focusing on Nikita to stop thinking about Isak and that...that was the only reason why he got trapped by the water in the coves.
Walking over towards the canteen, he was glad to hear that his parents were doing okay even after Hunter’s captor, though he laughs at the mention of their baby brother. “Yeah, well, it’s good to hear that not even in my disappearance some things will never change.” He said with a more genuine smile.
“I’m okay, as good as any other royal on this island can be.” Expect for the more broken part of him of how he left things with Isak as he believed to be his possible death as he watched the waves raised. In those moments, he regretted everything he said and did..he should have stayed...should have stolen a few more last kisses from him. “There are some things that they so politely offer us. There is a gym in the Tulach House...a library a few steps away.” He went on now focusing his full attention on his sister.
Approaching the canteen he glanced over at Leilani. “But first thing is first. We are getting some food into you..and lucky for you it’s dinner time.”

Leilani 🖛
Leilani found her somewhere that she had been residing a lot; the shoreline. Maybe it was because it reminded her of home... or that it gave her some peace that maybe... just maybe she was somewhere close to home. Was she homesick? Most definitely. Leilani missed her mom, dad, and dare she even say her younger brother. The blonde was well aware that Hunter was on the island somewhere; Isak had told her. But, Leilani didn't actively search for him, being to focused on trying to adjust to life on an island where she had been taken against her will. One thing she had learned, though, was that word spread quickly on the island, and when Leilani had heard that Hunter had gotten stuck in some coves, she couldn't help the 'What the hell did he get himself into?' look that must've crossed her face. There was no doubt that the figure she saw was her brother, a deadpan look taking over her features. "So... you're without me for how long and suddenly you're a dumbass?"

Hunter refused for the water to intimidate him. He grew up in the water. Being a future king of an island and being afraid of the water - it was just plain ridiculous...unheard of. Though there he was with his toes just barely touching where the water reached up and he couldn't help for his thoughts to take him to when he was perched on top of the rock with Nikita, holding onto one another for dear life before a pirate had to come save them. The only thing that pulled him out of that memory was the sound of a too familiar voice - one he dreaded to hear on this dreadful island. "Lei?" He whispered out before turning and seeing her there. It was so good to see her, especially now, but he never wanted to see her on the island. Moving over towards her he wrapped her in a tight hug.

"The one and only." Corners of her lips turned up in a wide smile, arms wrapping around Hunter to return the hug. Leilani felt her shoulders slump, a weight lifting off of them since she knew her brother was okay. Pulling away, an eyebrow quirked up as her head tilted to the side. "Now... tell my why the hell you were in coves? That was like... lesson one of doing things at night, never go into coves?" Was she teasing him? Definitely. Leilani knew Hunter never put himself in danger knowingly... but this was something she'd most definitely never forget.

The first glance, she looked okay - still looked like her perfect self but he was still worried she got hurt. Letting her go when she pulled away, his eyes scanned her for any obvious wounds. His overprotective brother mode was kicking in now. Though he lifted his eyes to hers when she asked why he was in the coves. How quickly word got out. However, how the hell was he supposed to answer that? He took Nikita to the coves for privacy, to make out with her and much...much more. "I wasn't thinking properly." No he was too sidetracked with the Russian princess. Shaking his head, he took her wrists and held her arms out still checking for any wounds. "Enough about me. When did you get here? Were you hurt at all?"
Leilani 🖛
Eyes rolled as he grabbed her wrists, shifting her weight to where she was mainly standing on her left leg. "Emotionally? Who knows how much damage my dear brain sustained..." Leilani's bottom lip jutted out, before she let out a quiet laugh. "I'm okay. You know I never do well with change and uh..." Her head looked around, a quiet sight passing parted lips. "This is one big change." Leilani's voice got quieter as she spoke, whatever face she had put on since she got here slowly deteriorating now that she was with Hunter.

Letting her wrists go, the worry in his eyes never went away. Leilani and their baby brother, they were both his responsibilities and granted he wasn't there to really protect her, he still felt more responsible that she was here. Had he not gotten kidnapped himself, perhaps he could have been there to keep her safe. "It's an adjustment even I'm still getting used to." He said offering her a forced smile. "Have you eaten?"
Leilani 🖛
"No, I haven't.." She mumbles before running a hand through her hair. "Been kinda... preoccupied with trying to figure out where everything is here. My memory is failing me." Towards the end of the sentence, her tone got more dramatic before Leilani smiled widely at Hunter. "Show me around!"

A frown took over Hunter's features, as he nodded with the last thing she had said. "We'll start with the canteen. Get some food in you, ya?" He said, offering his arm for her before he turned on his heels and walked towards the canteen with his sister now at his side. "How were mom and dad?"
Leilani 🖛
Head nodding in agreement, her arm slipped into his, her stride falling into time with his. "They're okay... they miss you, a lot." Leilani laughs. "But... things have been pretty okay back home. Mom and dad are still going as strong as ever... our little brother is still as annoying... not much has changed." She makes sure to watch where they're going, not wanting to forget right away. "How are you, though?"
