"Fourteen, by a human timeline." Loki scoffed softly at the memory. "Amora thought it would be funny to snitch one while mother's eye was averted, during one of our lessons in the Seidhrs.  She told me that I was mediocre. So I learned most meticulously thereafter how to perform in a manner that left any subsequent recipient of my affections screaming plaintively for more.  I have never henceforth disappointed myself." 

Daffodil:What's the most thoughtful present you've ever received?

"My mother always gifted me thoughtfully.  She seemed to have a prescience as to what I both craved and needed at any point in my life: even if I myself did not know it.  When I was very young, she gave me an annotated spellbook more comprehensive than any in the royal library, which she had obtained via a treatise with a high lord of Alfheim.  It was a ponderous tome, charmed however to be light as a feather, and I carried it with me always, and learned a spell for storing it in an astral pocket from which at any location in the Nine I could retrieve it. The best part was an enchanted quill which took down notes in its appendix automatically whenever I so much as thought of a new spell or hex with which to experiment. If you intend to ask where that book is now...I will die before confessing."  

Zinnia:Who was your best friend when you were six years old?

"My idiot brother has always been, for better or worse, my best friend. Even when I legitimately want to annihilate him. Despite his uncanny capacity for denseness, no one living knows me better. Thor is home. Thor is our broken home.  I would like to think this a reciprocal condition, but I am not keen on asking. He will quite mistake it for sentimentality."  

Heliconia: Do you like when it rains?

"I do."  And, Mischief mused, I will not tell you the reason why, despite its extreme obviousness.  "I like to saturate myself in it. Bathe in it. Be one with that which I love and loathe."  Call it an obsession.

☆ - happy headcanon

It may be impossible to make Loki truly and lastingly happy (remember one of his iconic lines is “satisfaction is not in my nature”) and that’s because happiness itself is something he’s come to see as fragile, fleeting, even the result of belief in falsehood.  It’s also because Loki has two contradictory needs to be happy: one is constant intellectual stimulation and even personal danger. The other, quite paradoxically, is stability, solace.  The greatest irony is that the Liesmith likes to surround himself with forthright, dependable, and trustworthy people (if such people exist at all, which he increasingly doubts).  Nevertheless some degree of pleasant solitude helps.  Give him a puzzle to tease, a motherboard to manipulate, and he can be content for ages. 

✿ - Sex headcanon

Loki is sexually confident and adept.  He is an exceptionally good lover because he is very good at anticipating the desires of his partner and quite courteously granting them.  Sex is a performance like everything else, and Loki is a chameleon who will play almost any role and perform almost any act (within reason—he is not entirely without his dignity).  He thoroughly enjoys the challenge of genuinely pleasing his partner, and is most aroused by seeing him or her in the throes of pleasure by his causing.  He is passionate and expressive.

Loki’s living quarters are immaculate, except for his desk, which is a constant chaotic mess (but there’s order in that chaos).  He places hexes around his home to keep any prying eyes away from any paper trails that might lead to his convoluted and complex schemes.
