@legionmade replied to your post “sneaks a super quick kiss because he's feelin brave”
frank voice: what the heck where's my kiss *looks expectantly at both of them*
can’t forget the big guy. they’re gonna smooch both cheeks at the same time, effectively making a frank-smooch-sandwich
@legionmade liked for a starter !
As one of the only people on camp that compete with Tyson’s height, Frank was often subject to his enthusiastic hugs. Not that he didn’t hug everyone else, of course, but Frank didn’t wheeze so much.
Such was the case when Tyson saw his friend (/brother/cousin/uncle/relative?) appear from where he had been laying with Ella.
“Hello!” Was Frank’s first and only warning before he was brought into one of Tyson’s famous embraces. “You are here! I like when you are here! Hello! I have your present!”
maybe talk about headcanons for apollo's roman children? or his relationship with roman demigods / how he feels about the ones he knows
It bugs the fuck out of me that the Roman demigods arent talked about more, especially the demigods of Apollo. I really really want to know more about that part of him (partly because I’ve been working in Rome for the last two summers in areas where Apollo was p important).
I would imagine that like the Greek Apollo, he’s fairly close to his own demigods. Apollo is forgetful, but he is there when they call on him to help with healing. I feel like he’s a little more distant though, like a stern but loving dad instead of Cool Dad (tm).Â
But like all his kids, he loves the Roman demigods.
@legionmade got Melinoe!
“You aren’t what I expected for my kid sister’s boyfriend, Zhang. I gotta say, you’ve impressed me with what I’ve heard from Dad.”

          "i'm HUNGRY." that's why she's munching on a rather impressive sandwich-- slices of roasted beef are threatening to fall out of the baguette, tomato juice is staining her fingers and there's mayonnaise already staining her cheek. she's messy when she eats, like anything she does, but soon she lets out a satisfied sigh. "sit down, frank, gods. you deserve a break." she pats at the spot next to her in the grass. it's a warm day in camp jupiter, sunny, with a light breeze tangling her golden hair. "want something to eat ?

   the bare minimum of the furnishings had been lain out and even so, there were still boxes of unpacked items strewn around the floor; rome wasn’t built in a day, and clearly, apartments in new rome weren’t finished that fast either. after surveying the room and seeing all that had left to be done, reyna plops down on one of the boxes with a sigh. she’ll be lazy, this once. there was time to be lazy because there was now peace and the highest thing on their priority list was to make sure the bed was properly screwed together and wouldn’t give in under their collective weights and gods, they could finally have some peace and quiet and normalcy.Â
   reyna didn’t know exactly what normalcy would mean for her, or how she would fit with it. on how her home would now be an apartment in new rome and not camp jupiter, on how it would be the fourth place that fit the definition of home for her and how that didn’t exactly scream normalcy, no, not in the slightest. and when did she ever see herself settling? it had always seemed to her, battle and fury and duty burning bright in her veins that her life was destined to be spent on the field, and morbidly, to never see herself settle and find peace.
   she finds herself drawn out of her thoughts at the sight of a hand outstretched at her, at which she raises an eyebrow. the skeptical look is still worn when she raises her gaze to frank, whose smile proves to be contagious in turn. he can read her, he knows her — they’ve fought a war and rebuilt and lead together— and now he sees that she’s tired and dwelling. so reyna obliges, with a sideways smile and roll of her eyes that widen when he tugs on it and puts her on her feet.
   she doesn’t know what he intends to do— perhaps show her where he had hung the painting he’d been trying to find a place for for the past hour, or maybe drag her to the grocery store and teach her a thing or two about informed shopping and homemade cooking. but he does neither of these things, and instead pulls her close to him. she makes a noise of surprise, somewhere between a gasp and an eep! but doesn’t make a move to pull away. reyna laughs, hearty and whole, when frank begins to hum, a soft song that she doesn’t know but maybe might just learn to love. she lets him guide her while they sway and dance in lazy circles to his at times off-beat tune, baritone and smooth and she can feel it reverberating on his chest that she’s pressed up so close against.Â
   this, she thinks she can settle for, and happily so.Â
legionmade a réagi à votre billet: polyphemus in percy jackson: dumb, obsessed with...
i’ve noticed that most of the enemies in pjo are pretty stupid. like, otherwise, it would be really hard for the demigods to beat these super powerful monsters, so they have to be dumb in order for them to achieve it.. it sucks :(((
yEAH thats true?? the harpy aellope (aëllo in pjo) was known for torturing human souls on their way to the underworld but she was a cleaning lady in pjo. the sphinx just talked about random fun facts. kâmpe got some rocks dropped on her and bam, dead. stheno and euryale were sales ladies and medea was a department store owner. the boreads were weird 70s style creepers.
like...... its sad to see these incredibly rich myths of terrifying creatures turned into ppl that wash the demigods’ dinner plates or wears bell bottom pants? i get hes got to simplify it for the kids reading it (i read the series first in 6th grade) but sTILL,,
