In regards to forced-beard Robin Hood, hasn't it already been written that it will end "tragically" or some such? It's not endgame. Just another roadblock to SQ endgame because it's still too early to hook them up.
That was one of Keck’s “spoilers” or whatever, but people have also said the tragedy was just that Regina didn’t talk to him in the past, so who knows. I don’t think it matters anyway, anything can happen.
I truly believe SQ is endgame. There are just too many hints and clues. My theory: This fandom is too smart (seriously, we were onto the Charming crest almost immediately) and A&E are throwing in beards and all sorts of obstacles to SQ to throw everyone off track. That explains the thrown-together and /or reconned characters, storylines and lazy writing. I think they underestimated the SQ appeal and fan base when they began the show and have been trying to stay one step ahead of the smart SQers
Thank you for sharing this! Sometimes I wonder if they were totally surprised by people seeing SQ in season one… cause I think what they would consider “subtle” (through aid of heteronormativity) is stuff that’s much easier for seasoned f/f shippers to spot. I wouldn’t really be surprised if they underestimated how quickly and easily we’d catch on.
