So I have been reading about using your non dominant hand to paint. I have been wanting to paint more loosely. I have also decided to try some landscape art. I like where this is going. Still in process #wip What I also find interesting is that as a little girl my dominant hand was left. However while in first grade I had a tall skinny teacher with a beehive hairdo and cat eye glasses and sort of a long beak nose. (1969) I think she really didn't like me at all. Each time I picked up my pencil with my left hand she would march right over to my desk and smack my hand with her ruler. Students in her classroom write with their right hands she said. Imagine my terror, as a 5 year old, being humiliated in front of the class. Not being allowed to use the hand I was comfortable using. My handwriting was awful. Everything circled in RED! This is a very deep rooted hereditary trate. You see my Mom's mother was left handed, so is my Mom (she was the first daughter). My moms first daughter to a previous marriage is also left handed. I am the first daughter my parents had together. (Lefthanded) my first daughter is also left handed...my first granddaughter is left handed. You see all the first girls born are all left handed none of the others are. My teacher took that from me. But I will paint lefthand...even if it's only a few!!!! Well now I do write with my right hand. But today....today I'm painting this entire painting with my LEFT hand and I love it!!!! #Leftisforlove #lefthandedpainting #CloverMoonDesigns #lefthandedlandscape https://www.instagram.com/p/BpKY_gRHrgV/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1s30i5cztf1on
