D23, 2026: Pixar Animation Studios Unveils First Details For "Coco 2"

As part of the Disney Entertaiment Showcase, Lee Unkrich and Adrian Molina took the stage at the Honda center to give us our first details on the upcoming "Coco 2" slated for Thanksgiving 2029.
The new movie will see a timeskip where Miguel's now a teenager but a new threat is looming at the land of the dead leading Miguel to return there and reuniting with Mama Coco and his former hero Ernesto de La Cruz.
Additionaly Molina, Unkrich and Pete Docter announced that "Coco" will be one of the new worlds coming to "Kingdom Hearts IV" slated for a late 2027 release.

Pixar released news about Coco 2, Incredibles 3, and new story Ghost Market during D23 2026.
Coco 2 will be set a few years after the events of the first film. Miguel is now a teen who fills the streets of his hometown with music. Before an important audition, though, Ernesto de la Crus is back for revenge that sends Miguel back to the Land of the Dead to reclaim what he cannot live without. Benjamin Bratt returns as the voice of Ernesto. The film is be directed by Lee Unkrich and Adrian Molina.
Coco 2 releases to theaters in 2029.
In Incredibles 3, Supers are celebrated and have created the Super Hero League. Bob and Helen have new challenges at work with the league as well as at home teaching Jack Jack to control his powers and keeping an eye on Violet and Dash, who are eager to help. Then a new supervillain emerges that will push the family to their limits.
Incredibles 3 stars the voice talents of Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Samuel L. Jackson, and Sarah Vowell. The film is directed by Peter Sohn from a screenplay by Brad Bird.
Incredibles 3 will release in 2028.
Ghost Market follows "food-loving, would-be content creator" Kyle who blunders his way into the 'Ono Market, a lunch spot that serves lost spirits, those stuck between life a death. After eating the food, Kyle turns into a half-ghost and will have to "deal with paranormal deliveries, long hours in a haunted kitchen, and scariest of all...his own family" in order to return to normal.
