six years ago today we lost one of the greatest ever to do what he did, whether you want to call it architecture or not. his work lives on with an indestructible, immutable, undeniable presence. In fact, I was drawn to the work of other creators because they had that same balance of experimentation and technical skill that spoke to me when I was 17, in 2007, with Lebbeus’ work when I first discovered it.. you can probably guess who if you’ve looked at my social media content with any care. I happened to be in grad school in the city you resided in when you passed away - if only I’d sent you an email in an attempt to hear first hand about your work... but, it does speak to me daily itself.
