Standing up for every woman's right to be free from harassment and violence seems so obvious to me. Yet there are people who have deep seated beliefs that they have the right to abuse us, use us, treat us as objects or simply do not believe we are equal in worth or value. My naïveté blinds me from grasping this way of thinking but I'm not naïve enough to pretend that all of us standing up for this cause are putting ourselves at risk to continue to be abused, emotionally, mentally and otherwise. Yet I remain committed to the work that keeps pushing towards a peaceful world, where neither men nor women are at risk of violence, and our ability to love inspire of our differences is paramount. #LeaveMeAlone #LeaveSheAlone #LeaveWIAlone #TogetherWI #SaySomething @togetherwi_
