I should be able to post this without a reason, but since people always think things are about them, I feel I need to be specific. I left a business behind several years ago. One I had built. One where my pride was giving to those who couldn’t afford it otherwise. BUT, one I had begun to loath in a town and state I had begun to despise because of the petty nature. Recently people who I still care about were hurt by a series of events in that town. While it had nothing to do with me personally, it did hurt me to the core to see it happen. Suddenly people who had formerly had nothing good to say about me because I walked away were flocking to me for advice and answers and help. To the ones I still care about, I love them and wish I could have taken away their pain and frustration. Sooo... I'm snuggling into bed, ready for sleep, when my are brushes up against something hard and cold. I pause, and look at the Woo, who is sitting, looking out thd window, her back to me. I dig out the hard, cold thing and find a bone. Now, I dont know about you, but I'm not actually fond of sleeping with bones, so I pick up the bone and toss it at the Woo. Her bone, she can deal with it. . The Woo turns, looks at the bone, then looks at me for a long, thoughtful moment...and then, very deliberately, picks up the bone and brings it back to where it had been before I threw it at her, and drops it. .
