Oh, if summertime could last forever; if she could dance more in the thick, sweltering nights, and bring her berries fresh each day, Haleth would not be one to complain â Yet in her heart there remained joy for the waning of the season, when the nights dipped cool, not overly so, just enough to make a soak in the hot springs truly indulgent.
With the moon high overhead, Haleth noticed another through the thick wafts of mist, another woman who looked much like herself, strong and solitary. Interested for a taste of conversation, she asks: "Hail stranger, what is it that you do?"
