I am actually super surprised I haven’t written anything inspired by it. because it’d totally fit in with my lyrical themes. masochism and sadism (granted those two things manifest quite differently when I write about them BUT both in ways that are FULLY APROPOS for Hellraiser). horrifically and creatively violent acts that would probably result in mutilation not unlike what happens when someone becomes a cenobite. culty/religious vibes (I mean the cenobites are a religious order after all). general harshness (fun fact it could be that I was getting super into both Angelspit and Marilyn Manson when I was also getting super into Hellraiser but I really associate Hellraiser with industrial metal, a genre I love and can definitely work with). dude you’ve unlocked good ideas in me. thank you.
