#learning illustrator

I'm trying to print cute memo pads for me and learning illustrator in the process but I'm having trouble when I print them because they always turn out to be too small. I thought it was something wrong in the printing settings but then I realized that when I first create my document, instead of putting the units in centimeters I put them in millimeters. And forgot to put the measurements I want in mm as well, I was putting them on as cm! 😩😩
