Day 4 - Dead on your feet
Her injuries were plenty, but she couldn't pass out.
I'd like to request Leamp character study for WIP Wednesday please
“I’m the chosen one! The one who should take out the Dragons!” Leamp looked at the angry necromancer with pity. He was young. Younger than her. Such a small sprout, with such a heavy burden.
“Is that all you are? Your Wild hunt, sprout?” She took on a patronizing tone, no way Ardenost needed another boot licker or somebody who would sugar coat everything. His fellow Commanders might take shot at him, but he still needed some sense and humility beaten into him. “What else can I be? Savior of the Or? Look where that took him! Whatever Caith was. Or Scarlet….,” he was slowly calming down. The death magic shrouded him dispersing.
“Ardenost. Nothing more, nothing less. You have great friends, already managed grand feats, but you are still young, sprout, even by our standards.” Leamp offered him her hand, still leaning on her staff, their small scuffle agitating her leg and making it hurt.
“What if Ardenost is not enough. I wasnt enough to save Traherne. Eir. Every sibling who fell to Jungle dragon.” Leamp was taken aback, the proud Necromancer, one of the 3 Commanders and honestly spoiled one of their Mother, was falling apart. She was not paid enough by the Packt and Priory to deal with this. She was not even trained to deal with mental health. She was an Elementalist who had her own baggage. How should she deal with an emotional Necromancer, who was living in their world for only a few years tops? Not even in double digits!
She is going to bill the Order for this one.
Could you write a bit of Leamp character study for WIP Wednesday please?
Tarir was beautiful, as she stood at the top floor Leamp marveled at the beauty of the golden city. She was heavily leaning on her staff, coming to terms she would need it to move freely. Never as fast as before without the power of winds.
"But there is still other options," she smiled to herself as she jumped down, laughing freely before opening her glider. People are inventive when needed. And gliders became her best friends in the jungle.
Now she marveled at the beauty of the ancient city with its ancient keepers. She felt the magic pulsing in the air, both the dragon and older one. One that kept the city alive and safe. Her explorer heart couldn't wait to discover all the nooks and crannies of this place.
