dude, you are TALL. he's six foot, no? I'm 5'8" and have had to accept the fact that 1/2 the guys I COULD date will be shorter than me :(

Haha, so I am told. Yeah, he’s 6ft according to everywhere I’ve looked. I just find it odd cause I feel like they made him look bigger in the movies? I just always imagined him taller than me, like if we met I’d need to look up but there we go.

Maglor: In general, yes, I believe in redemption. On a case-by-case basis, I think? I am certainly cynical about public redemption for major wrongs, given the way media/celebrity culture works, but, a world without redemption seems untenably bleak.

Bifur: HAHAHAHA. This is actually a good story. I broke my right middle finger several years ago. Falling off a horse, or more accurately, not actually getting all the way onto the horse in the first place. This was back when I was riding Sam, the 19hh dude, and the barn didn’t have a proper mounting block, so I used to park him between the vaulting barrels in the corner of the arena and use one of them to stand on. Unfortunately, this particular time, I did not put my left foot in the stirrup, or have adequately short reins, so when Sam decided to turn around and go back to his stall, I had my right foot sort of barely over his back. 

I held on for a surprisingly long time, especially considering that he had to go through a fence gate that he barely fits through without someone on him. By the time I came all the way off, he was back in the aisle, which is concrete, so it’s probably ultimately good that I held onto the reins as hard as I did, because I think otherwise I’d’ve broken a lot more things on landing.

My favorite thing is to buy organic boxed wine BC its a crazy good value. Badger Mountain is one of my favs.. Like $25 but its four bottles in a box!

Oooh I'll have to keep an eye out for that! I ended up finding a $12 bottle of something fancy at the wineshop nearby, but then I decided to save it because my dad and I are going to make some stuff from the Feast of Ice and Fire cookbook to eat with the finale tomorrow.

move to Utah where the cheapest wine IS $10. you don’t get any other choice :( (hence the importing of cases of Trader joes wine on out of state trips!)
