HELLO FRIENDS I COME BEARING TRANSCRIPTIONS OF BITS AND PIECES OF THE MANUAL PAGES THAT I'VE MANAGED TO PUT TOGETHER
the radiation exposure page:

HAZARDS OF RADIATION EXPOSURE
The electromagnetic x-ray camera emits radiation, which [illegible] crew must follow established radiation safety procedures, including wearing appropriate [illegible] exposure to radiation as much as possible. The crew must also be aware of the potential [?] [illegible] report any signs of exposure to the COI Station immediately.
Upon activation, the camera discharges 7,400 millisieverts of radiation per ignition.
WARNING
A minimum dose of 6,000 millisieverts will cause acute radiation poisoning and death within weeks of initial exposure. Do NOT stand in front of or around the camera while it is powered.
The electromagnetic x-ray camera is located in the forward starboard side of the transition section. Preventing excessive radiation exposure to crew is limited [?] by a layer of lead plating mounted below. Limited use of the camera advise, radiation is compounded with each use.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
underneath is a diagram titled 'HUMAN EXPOSURE TO RADIATION' that I cannot read
other pages:
this one's pretty legible except the writing at the top which says 'you don't [something]', maybe 'return'?
this one is also fairly unclear and i don't have a better screenshot but i did catch while the camera was focusing that the circled word at the top is "abandon" and the note is "hope"
follow the designated flooding procedure to abandon ship. ominous
Always follow proper radiation safety protocols while operating the electromagnetic x-ray camera to minimize the risk of radiation exposure.
part of the camera instructions, no. 5 says "when finished, turn off the camera by pressing the power [?] button" which is FASCINATING
and this leads me into a theory: i think that the pen notes were written by the previous convict. they all seem to be shit like 'abandon hope' or 'abandon ship' or 'you don't return' and also, i don't have a screenshot because other people have pointed it out, but 'what training?' scribbled on the training page. plus the note to simon is torn out of the manual!! oh yeah it's all coming together /ref
