I read you can use chalk pastels to make colored polymer clay. Luckily, that's what I always used for air dried clay so I was able to make some lovely fall colors before doing anything.

For now, I made three hearts, three roses, and two leaves. I was pleased with how they turned out but some looked better than others.

They baked successfully. I'll paint them for extra color and such later. Now let's see how they work for their intended purpose.

Two of the roses fit through jump hoops, which was what I intended, and all but a heart allowed thr chain to go through. I guess I'll have to make more sometime and figure out what I'll do with these two sometime. I guess I could still thread a wire for them.

The two that wouldn't work. Also, I did design the necklace I want to make next. The leaves aren't for it, but I'm sure I'll have a good use for them.
