“Your mother was quite insistent that I not see you tonight. You know, traditions and all that.” Loki waved his hand dismissively as he stepped outside to his soon-to-be husband. He wrapped his arms around him from behind, pulling him back, close against his chest. “I suppose she doesn’t realize that I intend to wake up with you in the morning as well.” He smirked, pressing a kiss to the side of Edward's head. If someone had asked him years ago what he envisioned for his wedding, it wouldn’t have been as simple and intimate as what was planned for the next day. But it was exactly what he wanted, what he needed, and he wouldn’t have it any other way. “You have any second thoughts about tomorrow? Remember, if you say yes, I’ll marry you against your will. I was just being polite by asking.” // @hcvrtbrcvk
