Wanda crossed her arms. Normally there was a sense of peace that came through walking through a small town in the quiet of night. There’s a shrill shriek lingering in the air and she isn’t quite sure if it’s in the wind, in her head, or something her and Sif needed to be worried about. She glanced at the woman beside her. “You know, I saw in some people’s head about the train tracks. Something… weird is happening out there on the edge of town.” SHIELD had noticed strange activity in the area, so her and Sif had been sent to scope it out. That worried her. It meant the organization didn’t want to draw too much attention, but it was definitely something big to be worried about. It was hard to hurt the two of them.

     “No, no, no-- Don’t touch tha--” And that’s broken. Tony drops his hands as Sif turns to look at him, broken lever in hand. “-- It’s not fitted properly yet. Never mind, I can fix that. What brings you by, anyway?”

Ale thick on his breath, the comedic facade of ignorance quickly falters into a devious grin. In the chaos of the room – warriors recounting their tales with escalating voices as they try to speak over each other, the boisterous cheering as the next barrel is tapped and vied for, the lively acoustic music that fills whatever space remains in the brimming hall – Thor’s attention clearly falls upon her. Since hers had settled elsewhere, her stare far away rather than being set on him, a flash of inebriated envy spurred him on to bring it back.

“Lady Sif, it is good to see you again.” Conveying the relief he feels through the medium of words proved to be a challenging task that went largely incomplete. Thus, to better show his contentment at being graced by the company of his former beloved (if he was still in any position to regard her as such, for great was the dissidence that had settled between them like a wintry blizzard), he removes his helm and tucks it beneath his metallic, showing off blond tufts recently shorn short.       Bending his knees sightly, he bows to the other, his words far less patronising when compared to their discussions in the past.
