     There was something he was forgetting. Something important he was sure of it. The longer he stared at the meaningless images flashing over the flat screen of his TV, the more it clawed its way into his veins, making his skin itch and his limbs restless. What was it? The instant Takada’s face flashed across the screen announcing another of her special appearances, it dawns on him like a ray of light illuminating the farthest reaches of the darkest room. Their liaison is no longer available, and while still incredibly risky despite the obstacles he’s overcome, it can’t wait for ‘Kira’s Spokeswoman’ to finish with her duties.

     If the number he has for his stand-in is still correct, it’s time he sent a text from his own disposable cell directing the man to a park between the both of them. It’s late, but that only works to their advantage.

Serving as the moderator of the debate “21st Century Discussion: The Rebuilding of Japan” had been a step up for her -- a pleasant break from reporting on low profile criminal cases. For being only several months out of college, Kiyomi is rising up amongst the ranks of NHN’s newly hired journalists and she has no intention ot slowing down. 

Kiyomi is a perfectionist and always has been, and in order to prepare for this debate, she’s spent weeks reading articles published in academic journals by renowned economists on what factors they believe to have led to the economic collapse and what policies would lead to an optimal recover from the Lost Era that has devastated the nation.

Naturally, that portion of the debate had gone well and Kiyomi is quite satisfied with the quality of the discourse so far. What she hadn’t quite expected was for a young prosecutor to start talking in veiled support of Kira. Of course, she can’t be sure just yet that this is the case, but all the same curiosity has gotten the best of her. 

Even then, she may not have indulged said curiosity were it not for the fact that she finds said prosecutor alone and slouched over a styrofoam cup back stage during the break. Raising an eyebrow at how relaxed this posture is compared to the rigid, stiff way he’d held himself when there were cameras pointed in his direction, she approaches. There’s no harm in properly introducing herself one way or another. 

                    “ Since we’re stuck here, we might as well eat. ” His tone was strangely casual, a small smile fastened across his face despite the annoying predicament, Allen frankly didn’t care much mostly due to the fact that he wasn’t in a hurry to go anywhere nor did he felt the need to hurry ( He had nowhere to go anyway.) It’s fine like this, slowing down out of nowhere.

☤: Is your muse allergic to anything?

     Near isn’t allergic to anything that could result in anaphylactic shock, however there are a few things that cause some mild allergy irritation. Animals that are commonly found as house pets like dogs and cats makes him sneeze and his eyes water a bit, which is more of an annoyance than anything. Because of this not many animals are allowed in HQ. Peanuts and some tree nuts cause a bit of an itching in his throat, but, again, not enough that would cause anything severe. He doesn’t like them much to begin with, so they aren’t usually found in his food.

☼: What is your muses favourite kind of weather?

     Near doesn’t mind any type of weather, really, since he isn’t outside very often and is in a temperature controlled room. He isn’t too fond of when its incredibly bright out, but usually has someone close the blinds if that’s the case. Nor does he enjoy when its extremely windy, as he’s in a very tall building and sometimes, despite knowing its safe, the shuddering is a bit unnerving.

The Quinx squad had been directly involved in this investigation, though already they were assigned to another undercover operation. As the deputy squad captain, Saiko had been left to clean up the ‘mess’ left by this one, and that...well, involved meeting with the police, still working on the scene, and offering whatever assistance she could to help build the case against the human who’d been not only hiding their ghoul lover’s identity, but had... been assisting the ghoul with ‘feeding’ after they had been injured in combat with the doves

It was conflicting to see how a human could fall to love a ‘monster’ so dearly that they’d murder to help them.
