@lavendrsa sent... “ i heard the story . i don’t really like how it ends . ” to araceli ( prompt. )
“...oh. oh, my apologies!”
well, this is awkward. you fall quiet, staring at your tea in embarrassment.you thought you’d brought up a decent topic of conversation, but... you suppose not. is the opera not as popular as you thought? with how often you’d been dragged on that man’s visits to the mittelfrank opera house and how full the seats always were... ( especially when dorothea was performing. you remember being in awe the one time garon had brought you to a show in which she was the lead. )
perhaps it was the performance itself that was the problem? you liked that one, but... hmm.
now you’re just curious.
“might i ask what you don’t like about it? i admit the pacing is rather poor and some motivations really don’t make sense, but... the score itself is excellent. and i hear professor manuela herself played the heroine in some showings! to each their own, of course, but i feel like getting to see her onstage would’ve made it all worth it.”
