i’m making a blog w all my fandomless ocs rn tbh i’ve seen a lot of them running around

4 -- On your fandom.

I really have mixed feelings towards the fandom and if any of you follow my personal you’ll see I’ve really distanced myself from it in the more recent years, it’s really difficult to imagine myself as a part of the fandom anymore aside from what I do here. 

On one hand I’ve seen this fandom create absolutely beautiful fanart, give people a reason to love history again (like myself because if it wasn’t for this fandom it wouldn’t be one of my majors atm), and allow people to expand the characters far beyond the canon material given. 

But on the other hand, while APH acts as an introduction of sorts to history a lot of the fandom doesn’t really move on beyond that which leads to terrible inaccuracies within characters and rather offensive portrayals and headcanons, The fandom also tends to ignore a lot of the characters that they’re given (see: female characters for example) in favour of a select few more popular ones. And don’t get me started on the hugely western focus that this fandom has as well -- which I’m guilty of myself. 

10 -- On URLs.

I’d say I’m mostly neutral on this topic? Like it’s totally up to the individual what they choose at their URL. Yes I do tend to like more unique URLs that relate to the character itself over more recent patterns, but at the same time I tend to also poke fun at friends who choose rather long URLs in a foreign language.

15 -- On tumblr.

Ah yes tumblr. 

Why I don’t leave I just don’t know -- I’ve been here for 4 years now and I think that more than enough time to be on a site and yet I’m still here. I don’t really have anywhere else to go, so my leaving would mean leaving social media altogether and I’m not quite sure if I want to do that.
