It’s finished!!! My Laurel Mists shawl is complete! I skipped eight rows of the final lace because it very quickly became clear that 650 stitches of lace is not my jam! I don’t think this hurt the final look of the shawl, though, and I’m really happy with how it came out! Thank you to SweetGeorgia for running my first-ever MKAL, and thank you to Tabetha Hedrick for designing such a beautiful shawl!

Finished Clue 4 of Laurel Mists last weekend, working on Clue 5 this weekend!

So uh. I finished the second clue for the Laurel Mists MKAL in a single day. Oops? On the plus side, I dug through my pattern stash and found a hoodie pattern I can work on while I wait for clue three to drop!

I finished the first clue!!!!! I’m really enjoying the Laurel Mists MKAL, to the point that I got really excited and bashed out the first clue in two days. Oops! The colors I picked are really subtle, and don’t pick up well on camera, but I’m really liking them so far! The yarn is soft and lovely and I can’t wait for the second clue to drop!

I think I might have gotten a little overexcited about the Laurel Mists MKAL - I'm almost done with the first clue already, and it just dropped today! I'll probably finish it tomorrow, and then I'll have to get over myself and work on the giant C2C blanket that's been in progress for an embarrassingly long time now.
