It's all about how the earth rotates and how well we walk it while it turns One foot at a time, one in front of the other Sinking into the ground Leaving our mark inhaling the air exhaled by someone else, the breath that traveled through their own lungs Straight into mine I breathe in their positivity, and their negativity the happy, and the sad all their fears and all of their dreams it seeps into my bones, it stings my throat and then I Let It Go because the earth will keep on spinning no matter how I feel Empathy ain't easy but a life with too much feeling Or a life without enough isn't a life worth living
