I was once talking to my dad about how I still get excited over the little things and he told me that as you get older things begin to excite you less and less and soon you loose that feeling of pure excitement even towards the bigger things, like going to a concert. He told me he wished he could be as excited about things as my brother and I get. It scares me to think that this feeling goes away and I will one day may just stop having that feeling. I wish there was a way I could give my dad something to give that pure excitement back because that excitement is so wonderful and breathtaking and it makes me sad that it's lost. I say lost because that feeling has to be somewhere it's just been buried under the stress of running a business and raising two kids and growing up.
