Don’t you always have the impression that one more day is just what you need to fulfill your tasks? Well, I need more than that! 😅

My multitasking skills are growing exponentially! We are working on our final project, at the same time we are arranging our CV, LinkedIn, Portfolio for the next week and don’t forget about the side tasks and sleeping at night! 🌜

And changing topic, I am loving this week's project!! Our clients are super nice, and music is on the air! 🎶

5 more days to the end of this Bootcamp...and I will miss you all!

We are just in the middle of the final project, and the final week of the Bootcamp, and I’m starting to realize that we are almost done, now that we just started to know more each other and building bonds. I feel like I didn’t have the opportunity to know more about some of my peers, but I hope, after Bootcamp, we can find a way to do it.

I know that it could be improved and completed with a lot of new features, and maybe after Bootcamp I will do it. 

About the project that I’m working now with the great company of Paula and Vicky, I have to say that I’m more engaged than the last one and very excited about how will be the final result. We are a great team, and all the work looks very easy, but I think it’s because they are doing it easy ;). 

I have too many changes in my life after Bootcamp, and to be honest, I don’t want to think right now in that, so, I’m really focused on what’s going on day by day.

As anecdote, so well are we doing on the project, that I have time to spend on Netfilx. Yesterday I saw Chavela Vargas’s documentary film (It’s on Netfilx). I love her and all her career, and as a little tribute, and I think it matches this last week, I will use her song represent this post. (I know it’s a bit sad, but I feel like a have to do it)

I gather there was a slight disciplinary gap between myself and the team member hence we failed to communicate the digital and physical system as an outcome through iterative process due to time constraint. The ultimate goal would’ve been met if this was a yearlong project, collaborating with industrial people on everyday basis for development purposes. What I learnt from this project was while working with a person from different disciplinary, it is important to understand their cognition and deliberately work towards it, still approaching my own goal through the beauty of simplicity yet it may seem uncertain but through practice, it is promising.

The challenging aspect of this project was user testing with different disciplines because the data collected did not result to the deliverable product. “I do not agree to the positioning of the hardware for technical reasons”_ Sushmita Devi.

I have gathered existing hardware from industries assuring it is functionable within the range of the project and have placed the hardware according to its durability but passing the planning of the device onto a person from different discipline for 3D visualization, the understanding for aesthetics was significantly narrowed. I understand the consistency of the input and output for the consumers are very important for the purpose being it is understandable and easy to use for the customers but running the project through for stress testing again through co-designing with only the industrial people after collecting data from the standard disciplines for the idea of the product, the product failed to propose the intention of the device.

So what happened?

This design takes the electrons accordingly increasing and decreasing the temperature though micro-bio in one direction from solar panel. We have minimized the existence of solar system to a product ‘easy to use’ hence the product also needs to be thin, light and possibly small in size. The use of all the hardware’s are tightly packed into the luminescent concentrator hence having the solar pane on the edge gives maximum sides to be conducting heat.

However, the iteration given below has the panel in the middle of the concentrator, 1. extracting the purpose of the panel collecting raw heat. 2. The heat conduction transports the electrons to the tube and back to the solar panel then to the output. The increase in the temperature returning to the panel reverts to the normal temperature- the panels ability to the output which defeats the purpose of using bacteria to enhance the energy source.

If this product was iterated through mechanical design, I think the size of the products being used must be taken off or add another hardware, using the adjustments for the temperature flow.
