In my practice, the most commonly used lasers are ablative- either a CO2 or erbium. This before and after was taken 4 weeks post fully ablative laser resurfacing. Downtime about 9 days. Collagen will continue to increase till about month 3-6 (hence this photo is not the final result) . . 🔬Skin Science: Lasers are merely tools to get the job done. Practicing in Brisbane, Queensland I see an extraordinary amount of #sundamage & elastosis, hence when I pick up a laser, it is most frequently an ablative one . . 🔫👉Other lasers I use include vascular lasers in the 595, 755 & 1064 wavelengths, together with non-ablative lasers in the 1927 (most frequently used), 1440 & 1550 wavelengths. My goto pigment lasers are usually nano lasers. Other energy devices in my practice include #HIFU, RF devices, RFM #microneedling devices, & many others . . 🔫👍🏻💉🔪Lasers as tools: Not everyone requires a laser, in some cases injectable dermal fillers can give great results with minimal downtime, in others a chemical peel may suffice. Tailor treatments based upon skill sets NOT equipment . . 😎Dr Davin Lim, Dermatologist Brisbane Australia🇦🇺 #laserdermatology #laserdermatologist #fraxel #fractionallaser #laserresurfacing #skinrejuvenation #skinbrisbane #brisbaneskin #cliniccutis #cutis (at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CEIIR3CDPm-/?igshid=1saozmcwhxyxa
