If I may try for this egg? My method for them is surrounding them in ice, a blanket under to keep them from the hard surface
Among the familiar chill of ice, the egg begins to stir. The thick fur brushes against the chill of the surroundings as it rocks. The ice begins to crack, though the motion of the egg is almost hesitant. Still, the egg continues to rock. Ice shards fall away, and the fur parts to reveal a crack.
There's a pause, then the hatchling begins to slowly push out through the opening.
Once free of the egg, the hatchling assumes a safe position among the ice around it, though its eyes and ears swivel, alert and searching. It sees you first.
The hatchling has imprinted.
