I know Dustin's "the way to defeat the Mind Flayer is to raise an undead army" line was likely just a throw-away joke to piss Hopper off, but the way it would be my actual dream if all of Henry's past victims were to "return" and be the ultimate reason he is beaten. Virginia and Alice Creel, Barb, Billy, Heather, the unnamed characters who disappeared in S1, the victims of the Mind Flayer in S3, Chrissy, Fred, Patrick, Eddie and Max.. an army united supporting El and Will against Henry.
I just had a flashback to the graduation episode of Buffy, and the entire graduating class fighting the Mayor, even the ones who were awful to Buffy and her friends, and got goosebumps thinking about the remaining residents of Hawkins doing something similar, likely without knowing the details of what was really going on, somehow helping as well.
To me, Stranger Things at its core has always been about hope and the power of love. It's not a show that will end in a bloodbath. Half of our main cast will not be dead in the end. Even though this whole theory is maybe a bit silly, I think an unprecedented show of unity will happen in some way or another.
