Yellow and blue troubador coat. Very loosrly based off Jamie Lannister's coat. Designed with a buckled cross front, quilted shoulders with studded decoration, floral appliqué with crystal and sequin details and featuring a white lily and yellow lining. I wanted to create something that had a medieval edge but really fell into a distinctly more "fantasy" vibe. @zaitan1 took this absolutely stunning photo of @chichi76.myreflection at @empire_lrp Event 2 this year, and I just love the Tabard/Banner I got to make. It was an on-going design process until we had both nailed the design we wanted. It is made up of multiple pieces of embroidery stitched together as well as hand-painted cameos of two sginificant figures.
