You can only pick one each. Which currently airing show gets a lapsit and which gets a lift?
Oh, cruel! How can I choose?
Okay, honestly? 1000 Years Old needs a lapsit. They need it so badly. Pun pulling Yoh into his lap? Yes. Yes, please. Absolutely necessary. It's truly just a need.
Unknown needs a lift. Just... please? Please?! I need Yuan picking Qian up to take care of him just once, just scooping him up into his arms and being so careful and tender....
Or, honestly, I say Unknown but I also admit that it might feel out of place.
So if we think it'll be out of place in Unknown, I'd really like a more deliberate lift in We Are.

Stolen gratuitously from Storytime Underground:
Thank you for contributing to my “lapsit fun fact” request thread on Storytime Underground!
Some of these facts were posted by members like you. Others were taken from my brain, and still others were pulled from resources by:
Melissa Depper / Mel’s Desk Betsy Diamant-Cohen / Mother Goose on the Loose Saroj Ghoting / EarlyLiteracy.net
Some of these are from notes I have taken over the years, or they may be direct quotes or slightly modified quotes from my sources. Sometimes, my only contribution beyond making the template itself was connecting the literacy tip to the rhyme or activity on the top.
I began this project to use these cards as a resource or training tool for my new staff members. I tried to tie each tip to a subject, or activity, or rhyme so that when staff members are planning a lapsit storytime, they can match a card to something that ia already on a plan and take the card with them into the storytime. They can continue to use the cards until they get comfortable making these connections naturally, on their own, as things come up in storytimes.
If you would like an editable version of these cards (in publisher format), please email me at [email protected]
Hope these are helpful! -Doreen Rinehart, MLIS
My little princess got her picture on the front page of the paper today! The newspaper was there checking out our lapsit at our local library. Our little lapsit is becoming famous! I’m so happy that I get the chance to take my daughter to these little events. She always enjoys them. Yesterday she decided that her dolls needed to be at the lapsit with us and she wanted to play with them while we waited for it to start.
