What i really hate about jaspidot or amedot is not the dynamic (thats always amazing lmao) its that lapis is always the crazy ex or some shit, I was reading this jaspidot fic and jasper literally said lapis gave her a scar on her face WITH A KNIFE, this other fic was amedot it handled lapis much better, lapis was simply ace and peridot kept bugging her to do stuff she didn't want to do so they broke up, they were still friends and lapis wasn't evil, she was actually sweet in her own way and touchy feely still, which I absolutely LOVE lapis would be touchy in a cuddling and hugging kind of way, anyways, I think that its possible to write a good fic with peridot not involving lapis in a romantic sense but lapis doesn't have to be evil, she can be peridot's bsf, or her roomate or simply don't include her, lapis not being evil won't make the fic worse TRUST
