I never understood LapisxSteven hate. Some see it as pedophilia but I think THAT depends on how you see Lapis. If you see her as a young woman of higher age then yeah it's a bit creepy, but if you see her as a little girl then what's the problem with her dating Steven? I always see her as a child, gems don't age but they clearly have a state of mind that their forms reflect. Lapis looks very young at heart to me and her appearance reflects that (to me). She's just taller than Steven is all.

Can we talk about something here please? Why are there so many ship names for Steven and Lapis?
Seriously, at first I thought it was just Stapis Lazuli because that’s what the fanon wiki says (said), but then it’s sometimes shortened to just Stapis, Lapiven seems to be the most common tag (in my experience), Lapeven is also evidently a thing that some people call it, Lazuverse is used by one or two people, there’s the classic [both names with a slash or x in between them], Water n Melon (to my knowledge) is only used by one person, and I just found out today that Lapisteven has also been in use for a while.
Can everyone who ships this all get together and agree on a single name, please? Like, given how few people ship it, it’d be nice if we could all unite under a single flag or whatever.
