LANTAWAN SOCSKSARGEN FILM FESTIVAL
So last night was the screening of the 8 cine-socsksargen entries and 15 sinemindanaw short films. Our short film Kaugmaon is under the cine-socsksargen bracket. But before the event get started I was so nervous ofn how viewers would react to our film and I'm feeling so low because of I don't know. But aside from the nervousness I'm feeling during that night my thesis partners needs to gather some data also for our study and I'm shooting some clips for our documentary.
The night started as Direk Arnel called us the cine-socsksargen directors in front to tell something about our film.
After the introduction of films, a very surprising announcement was made by Direk Arnel as he told everyone that us film directors under cine-socsksargen would be the first scholars of their upcoming film workshop this upcoming April and I was like so happy as I've heard that.

Right after the showcasing of the cine-socsksargen films we were asked again to come in front and asked some questions.
And that was it, I hope that it we would make it to win and if not then it was a great experience. And I can never really forget that one of directors up there told me that I already made it to become a film director for I was able to join the film fest and it was like my key as a certified indie filmmaker.

By just seeing this I can't stop myself not to get excited on the premiere of our short film in the 1st Lantawan Film Festival. How I wish we would be able to bag the best film and some other awards. And honestly, I can't still believe that we were able to survived in doing this film well because there were a lot of time that we kept on planning to shoot a film for a film fest or nothing but it would end up into a crap but right now we really made it even though we were lack in time and budget. And this just made me happy because our batch the Scriptorium Mutationes has its own entry into this film fest. Well, good luck to our group and may God be with us!
