What does tudi mean? I've tried looking it up but didn't find anything that made sense.
"Tú DÌ/Tudi/徒弟" means "apprentice" or "disciple". For example; the student or understudy of a "Sifu/Shifu/师傅" or master.
Another similar word is "Tǔ Dì/土地" which means "soil/dirt", and is used to describe a type of helpful mountain god ("Tŭ Dì Gōng/土地公") - hence why in Lego Monkie Kid the amnesiac!Wukong calls upon the spirit "Tudi" when him and Pigsy are looking for the kidnapped Mr Tang.
I used the Yabla Chinese-English Pinyin dictionary as a source. So I hope I got these right.
