Of all the things Ana had been prepared to deal with today, having her sugar daddy exposed had not been one of them. The other she hadn’t been prepared for was just how understanding and kind Landon had been once he found out. Ana had honestly expected him to walk away and never look back and she wouldn’t have blamed him. Instead, she was pulling up to the curb outside his house and knocking on his front door. Officially as his girlfriend, no less. To say today had been a whirlwind was a serious understatement, and Ana wasn’t altogether mad about it. At least for the moment. From the moment she offered to come distract him, all Ana could think about was Landon and her alone in an empty house. She couldn’t remember the last time they’d actually been alone for any significant amount of time and, honestly? Ana was fucking ready. Landon’s dad and Inferno bullshit be damned, Ana was determined to finish this day better than they started it as she bounced on the balls of her feet, waiting for someone to answer the door.

Once at Drew’s door, Landon sighed. He wasn’t in the best shape and he’d always thought it best to keep the girls out of this; but he hadn’t seen her in forever and he missed her. Maybe he could distract her by playing around with Padme. Maybe she wouldn’t notice. He knocked on her door, clearing his throat as he sat down and hung his head. He hadn’t bothered to text her to let her know he was there; a part of him was hoping she was somewhere else and wouldn’t see him like this. 

LANDON: hey munchkin. sorry i haven't been around or whatever. i'm just... y'know. tired from work all the time.

Landon had been trying to avoid everyone in his life after his bender, especially since he knew he looked haggard --- the bags under his eyes and his unkempt hair wasn’t helping. While his sisters and his mother would’ve been the worst people to walk into Starbucks, Angie wasn’t far behind. He knew there’d be questions and, hell, she’d probably smack him in the most subtle way that she could. He cursed under his breath as she came to the counter and he smiled as he took her order, but only because he had to. He wanted to wince and apologize, but he couldn’t. She had no idea he’d lied to her. “You don’t come to this one” he said quietly, knowing the Starbucks he worked at was far from her usual spots, “what’re you doing here?”
