It was just his luck to run out of battery on the day that the city seemed to plunge into chaos. So many familiar faces acting as if they’d never set foot in Spirale before, and behaving little like how he knew them. Kingu himself felt like he was going a little mad. How had he left home without his charger, or his power bank, or anything he always carried? And what was he wearing, a potato sack?
Fortunately he could acquire the charger easily enough, and a public charging station was a life-saver. His clothes could wait, he needed to locate his sibling and make sure they hadn’t been caught up in this strange mess.
He was desperate enough to call rather than text.
“‘Kidu? Something very weird is going on, where the hell are you? You do know who I am, right?” ➢ @lancerofclay
