It was simultaneously intriguing and a little disturbing how little mind the people of the city seemed to pay him, in the long run. Oh, certainly there were comments on his appearance, one person enthusiastically babbling something at him about a ‘halloween’ costume, whatever that was supposed to mean, but on the whole, these were not people who had any understanding of the Galra empire, and he had to wonder where exactly in the universe they were that could afford such a luxury.
Of course, for the most part, that made moving around fairly convenient, especially as it seemed the majority of the city’s population was diurnal.
One of the city’s “sectors”- he was starting to get the hang of the local vernacular- was darker compared to the others, in that it afforded small pieces of unchecked greenery, and, from them, one could just begin to make out the stars.
The sound of footfalls on the grass alerted him that he wasn’t alone, and, turning fractionally, out of the corner of his eye, he scrutinized the other.
Pilot of the blue lion, if he wasn’t mistaken. And seemingly, unarmed.
(Ancestor’s blood, were they all children?)
“One would wonder at the wisdom of approaching an enemy alone.” He spoke quietly, but it carried well enough in the empty park- still without properly facing the other.
