oooooooh, you said you were going to tell us about your tattoo after the convention! Can we get a better picture of it? Showing it completely? (I love tattoos!)
What did I say I would do? Lol. I posted a full picture of my newly updated Evil Regal tattoo right after I got it done! I'm on my phone so I'm not sure how to link to it at the moment, but if you search my blog I probably tagged it "tattoo" and I can check that as soon as I post this to be sure :)But basically, I already had the feather/apple combo, and I showed it to Lana. She was really touched and excited. I got it because of how deeply both she and Regina have touched me. So then I asked her, if I wanted to add a Regina quote, what should it be? Well, Lana thought on this (adorably) and finally settled on, "I make my own Destiny." I got it done two days later so it would heal in time for me to come to Paris. Then, on Saturday, when Lana saw me (and the tattoo? Not actually sure if she noticed that before or after) she went, "I know you!" And took that picture I posted of herself gawking at it. I thanked her again later when I had more time. So there you have it, the story of my tattoo! Does that answer your question? Or did you mean one of my others? Or the one I just plotted out with Bex?
As anyone can see on my blog, icon, url, even my room, I'm a HUGE Lana fan. But tbh I don't see her as a huge ally? Or as Captain of Swen. Imo there isn't ~one~ person in the whole cast and crew that could get that job right now. Lana seems to be a decent human being, that's all. She's supported LGBTQ friendly project before, but lbh she's rich and famous, and they do stuff like that al the time. In fact, she could do way more than she does now. Doesn't mean she's perfect and unflawed (1/2)
(2/2) About the ships thing, Lana is just doing her job when she acts nice towards Swen. Let’s be real here: Her job when promoting the show is to keep the fans they have and attract new ones. That’s what she’s doing. Her job. She’s just not driving us away. And rn OQ is canon, therefore more PR for them. Just the obvious thing, really…
Yes, thank you. Like, I am in no way saying or implying she’s the devil, absolutely not. She seems like a very loving person. But she’s also not the angel people try to make her out to be. She’s a human, with flaws, and I AM a fan of her, and I think any good fan should be able to see their favorite celebrity as a flawed human and not elevate them to this god-like status.
